The Aunties:

Allex joined the Auntie squad in November of 2007. I will never forget meeting her. She was such a quiet person and I thought she will never survive me!!! Her shyness I knew would change with time. I saw in Allex a true love for dogs. Her whole life she and her mom fostered rescues and litters upon litters. During her interview we spoke about her love and she took me to the van and introduced me to a new litter of rescues that she was loving!!! I knew then that she would be a good compliment at Woofs. Allex has grown so much at Woofs. For months she could not even talk to clients. Now yiou can barely hold her back!!! Her love of dogs is unending and the care she shows them is incredible. She is always coming up with new games to play with them like hide and seek and find the ballJ She is there for our visitors and although she does not love mornings if she is needed she is here for our clan!!! Thanks Allex. Many of you see Allex after work to. Just go to the dog park or to a rescue party or gathering…you will probably find ALLEX!!!

This is our Auntie Jasmine in training. Jasmine is a student at the university for nursing. She truly loves dogs. She has a couple that shares her life. We met Jasmine as she brought in Chief for daycare. She is learning much about dogs and their behavior and body language. She mostly spends her time with the Wagglers but has suggested that she wants to give more love to the Woofers.

She is a very calm presence with the dogs filled with hugs and loves.

We welcome Jasmine and thank her for helping us out especially when we really need it!!!

The Obedience team:

Shalin is one of our obedience instructors. Shalin assisted in my classes on and off for YEARS. She is great with dogs and truly they are her love. She once told me that when she was a student in nursing her professor approached her and said that future essays and presentation on child behavior had to outline children and no more example of dog behavior!!!! Now that is too funny!!! Shalin is not only a great addition to Woofs but she is the most organized person I have met. I remember when she came to Woofs for training and I immediately asked her to start with the obedience program. She agreed and there has been no stopping her valuable input and program development. Outside of training she is a full time nurse, has 2 crazy dogs of her own (and a crazy cat) but she participates in agility. Dog sledding and so much more.
Shalin

She also heading up and developed our new Puppy Socialization classes in January. I cannot wait to introduce this program to the community, as it is much needed.

Thanks Shalin for coming to Woofs.

What can I say about Lise???

I met her in puppy class when she brought me Nemo. She is a great handler and we became very good friends. Lise is well read in behavior and has a strong interest in dog behavior. She has had to as her Nemo has been challenging….a Jack Russell need I say more.

She was continually in obedience classes and repeated many. She also participated in agility.

She has been assisting for over a year and will be teaching her first class in spring.

Her profession is technology wherein she teaches companies about computer programs. She is a born instructor.

She will be leading a new dog program stemming from Woofs this upcoming year too. Lise is going to lead a jogging group with dogs. I hope that many of you will be interested!!

Thanks Lise
