Some of my daycare days...

Today I had 6 friends in daycare. It was a great day and I was spoiled with kisses and hugs. I made some new toys for the dogs and they were a HUGE hit. They are tug toys combined with a chew toy. The dogs played and tugged repeatedly throughout the days.

One of more “shy” guys started to engage in playtime with others and I was so happy and could not believe it. He would chase the other dogs and do a few barks and run back to me. He had so much fun It is great to see the dogs acclimatize to a daycare environment and become more playful and confident around other dogs

I had a REAL snuggler in today and we have become quite close. She even came to my “private room” with my daughter and “had dinner” with us. How could I not invite her as she loves to be by my side.

I cannot explain daycare to anyone unless they really love dogs. Everyday I feel fulfilled and enthusiastic to share the day with all the different furry friends and I am always learning and studying their interactions and behavior. I know I am lucky to be doing what I love to do in life and that is spending time with dogs, loving dogs and learning from them!!
